Belline Vincent

Belline has been at Charles River Center for almost 20 years! She started in 2004 working in the Residential Program, then moved after two years to the Grugan Center, where she now serves as a Senior Life Skills Coach. If you ask her what’s the most rewarding part about her job, she will answer, without any hesitation, that it is the individuals at Charles River that make her both happy and proud. She especially enjoys greeting everyone in the morning, coming off the vans – “it’s the best part of my day!” It also helps her gain a better a sense of how each individual is feeling that day, and whether or not that individual might need a little extra help or attention.
She enjoys working with individuals on-site at the Grugan Center, but she particularly enjoys taking individuals out into the community. When she takes individuals out in the community, she notices that they are more curious, they open up, they ask questions – all of which makes her (and them) very happy. She is looking forward to resuming regular community outings with individuals now that we are starting to come out of the pandemic.
Outside of work, Belline likes to spend time with her 16-year-old daughter. They have their routine: they have a bite to eat, go for a walk, then come home and do homework and watch a little tv. She wants to spend as much time as possible with her before she is all grown up. 😊
Thank you, Belline, for your many years of service. You have touched the lives of so many – you truly help bring out the best in the individuals you serve.
